Ronnie V. Shields serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Signal, where he oversees the company’s financial strategy and accounting operations. With more than 37 years of experience, Ronnie possesses extensive expertise in financial strategy planning & analysis, operational & technical accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, project controls, treasury, and taxation.
Since joining Signal in February 2022, Ronnie has played a key role in guiding the company’s financial strategy and ensuring operational excellence. Ronnie has a proven track record of leading companies—both public and private—through transformative periods, including rapid growth, acquisitions, divestitures, public offerings, recapitalizations, and organizational restructures. His ability to strategically navigate complex financial landscapes and effectively communicate and manage the related risks has made him a trusted advisor and impactful leader.
He holds a Bachelor of Accounting from Texas Southern University, and he is a Certified Public Accountant.
Outside of work, Ronnie enjoys traveling with his wife, playing golf, listening to music, and passionately cheering on the Houston Rockets.
